As a junior majoring in Finance Business at The University of Texas at Dallas, I have always been passionate about understanding the intricacies of the business world. This portfolio reflects my growth as a student and aspiring finance professional, showcasing the skills and experiences I have gained along the way.

Effective communication is a cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. I excel in written and verbal communication.  I excel at being able to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Presentations and group discussions have enabled me to effectively articulate my thoughts confidently and adapt my tone to suit different individuals or groups.

Experiences and Learning at UTD

My experiences in my personal and professional lives is deeply connected to my education at UTD. My experiences have enabled me to apply my knowledge to actual real-world problems and situation. For instance, my coursework in finance and accounting have directly helped me effectively analyze data and understand financial systems in both projects and my internship. These experiences have helped me develop various useful skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving that are essential throughout life.

Strengths, Weaknesses, and Goals

Strengths

I have a strong academic foundation in both finance and accounting. I am incredibly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook,  and Microsoft PowerPoint. I have deeply developed communication and presentation skills. I am very detail-oriented and organized. These two enable me to manage my time incredibly effectively. ​I also adapt to and learn new things very rapidly. ​

Weaknesses

I have not had many opportunities to gain experience in financial roles, primarily due to my focus on school. Communication skills can always be improved to be more effective and clear. ​

2 Year Goals: 

  • Finish My Finance Internship

  • Graduate with a Bachelor's in Finance

5 Year Goals: 

  • Graduate with a Juris Doctorate in Law

  • Find and Finish My Law Internship

  • Find a Job as an Attorney
